Some garden news

Some things have happened in the garden. There were few rainy days and a lot of sun so everything is going somehow quickly. It seems that plants sprouted overnight.

One might say, miracles happened in the kingdom of plants. I must say that I am satisfied with almost everything. 

Patatoe sprouted last week. Onion, garlic, radishes also arised from the ground. Everything looks so healthy.

I transferred my zucchini from the greenhouse into garden. After that I planted cucumbers and tomatoes in the greenhouse. I planted nine pieces of cucumber and thirty pieces of tomatoes. 

Raspberries and strawberries have also started to rise. Strawberries are even began to flourish.

The rest of the nature in the surroundings is also beautiful. There are some new flowers in the garden every day. 

Garden update

Spring has just arrived, but I've finished most of the work in the garden. All my favorite types of vegetables are planted. This year, I decided to plant potatoes, red onions, garlic, carrots, radishes, beets, peas and zucchini. For now.

I planted patatoes about a week ago. This year I bought the seeds in local agricultural fharmacy. These are DESIREE patatoe seeds. It is very adaptive variety with a red skin colour but it is light yellow inside. Tubers are oval, long and resistant to drought. It is suitable for cooking, baking and french fries. This is a late variety. I also planted somekind of early patatoe, but I am not pretty sure about the name.

I can not wait to show the first shoots of my vegetables. Until then, we can only look at pictures of seeds.

In fact, some veggies have already sprung up. But only what I have planted in the greenhouse. So, my zucchini are almost ready for transplant into garden. I am so happy about this. Two types of zucchini have sprung so far. But I have planted some more outside in the garden.

Next to the seedlings, there is lettuce, onions, spinach and parsley in greenhouse. But it will soon be time to plant tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers.

My flowers this summer

The beginning of the summer was really wonderful with plenty of rainy and sunny days. Everything looked really nice in the garden. 

I was delighted that everything is progressing, vegetables and flowers. Long time since I've written on the blog but I took pictures during the days. The last days are too hot, with temperature above 30 degrees and everything starts to dry and veins.

So here are a few pictures of my flowers and herbs from the beginning of the summer so far.

Welcome Spring

It is my favourite season of the year. Therefore I am so excited. With some sun everything looks so magical. It really gives some new energy.

I was working in the garden today. And now, instead of felling tired I am very relaxed. I want more days like this. Here are a few photos from mine and neighbor´s  garden.
